Very nice. Harvest shows the current time at the customer service office, taking the guess work out of knowing if they are open right now.  

Unfortunately AppSumo I had to unsubscribe to your email and assign you a Sarcastic Yup. 

Regarding the emails: You used to send great deals on apps. Makes sense...your name is AppSumo. Now it's just a bunch of books, webinars and marketing muckity muck I don't need or want. 

Regarding the Yup assignment: I was on the fence. I like quirky messaging and a company that shows a personality. I decided on the Sarcastic Yup because it was creepy. Your naked employee against a blank wall conjured up scenarios that in no way inspired me to undo the rejection action I just completed. Sorry :(

Great creative copy to express email security on Gojee.  They also have a simple and lovely onboarding process. Clicking next in the message overlay and it jumps to the next navigation/feature giving you a little tutorial. 

I recieve this error message by clicking on an email link inviting me to join thier beta.

Here's a tip product designers, snotty error messages really don't make users feel welcome.

Why would a start up that needs folks to adopt it's product take an attitude like this? I imagine they thought it was cute, but it was kinda jaring when I recieved it. 

Aside from being annoyed by the copy I've notice that a lot of startups are missing a really important piece of content on pages like this and emails too. These sign up pages should remind you what the product is, why you might want it and why it's freaking cool.  In this case I couldn't remember at all what Gimme Bar was but it's actually a very cool utility for collecting snippits and pages from the web but it took some effort for me to find it.

Mixed messages from evite.

There are so many issues with evite. I'd love to list them all here but I'm not giving away free UX work today and this about sums it up.

I should hunt for an alternative invitation service again. Although last time I tried a batch of new ones I ran into endless dead ends full of terrible embarrassing user experiences and my friends weren't happy being guinea pigs either.

Attention social platform creators: I can come out looking pretty stupid in front of a lot of people when sites that facility social contact aren't crafted with care. 

Speaking of guinea pigs:
